About Me
I am from North Wales, where I taught ballet as my first job. I moved to London to study Dance and English Literature at Roehampton University, then, after three years in the Liberty buying office, I embarked on a long career in the UK trade publishing industry. In recent years, obstructed only by the pandemic, I have been a ‘digital nomad’ – living and working in India, Nepal, Greece and Canada armed with a bottle of Factor 50 and my trusty Macbook.
I trained as a yoga teacher under Sudhir Rishi in India and when I’m not practising asana, pranayama and meditation, I’m hiking whenever I can. I’m childfree-by-choice and a fearless advocate for women flying solo – you can read my archived Because You Can blog posts here. I am on the brink of moving back to North Wales, where I hope to meet a dog (or cat) who likes hiking as much as I do.
